Randy Truelock is a veteran of the grocery and food brokerage industry, currently working for Schraad Sales & Marketing. With a remarkable career spanning over six decades, Randy’s journey began in 1963 at Highland Village IGA. Randy has held key roles across the industry, including Produce Manager at Rihm’s IGA, Store Manager at South IGA, and Owner of Truelock’s IGA. He has also represented leading companies such as H.J. Heinz, Advantage Sales, and Nicholas Sales & Marketing.
Randy’s long-standing commitment to the Tennessee Grocers Education Foundation (TGEF) is one of his most distinguished contributions. Rarely missing a TGEF event, he has been an enthusiastic supporter of its mission to support educational opportunities for those in the grocery industry. In recognition of his significant impact, Randy was inducted into the prestigious TGEF Hall of Eagles—a select group of individuals recognized by their ideas, leadership, or fundraising efforts. Randy proudly stands among its 43 members.
In addition to his professional and philanthropic accomplishments, Randy has made lasting contributions to his community. He served on the Board of Directors for the Hoosier Hills Food Bank (1988–1998), brought holiday cheer as “Santa for Kids” with United Christian Ministries (1984–1989), led as President of the Owen Valley Sports Complex (2004–2012), and continues to bring joy as “Santa for Seniors” at Evergreen Village (2020–2025).
